Now, here's the backstory on Lisa:
- Hometown: Born in Pittsburgh, PA; moved to Lorton, VA in 1974.
- Parents: Sally & Jerry Martire; mom is a Registered Nurse, and dad is a retired electrical engineer.
- Favorite TV show as a kid: Partridge Family; The original Scooby Doo cartoon.
- Spent my days as a youth: boating & waterskiing; piano lessons.
- Thing I hate to admit, even to myself: Learning that it is all about the journey, not just where you end up.
- Hobbies: Travel, food (I love to cook) and wine pairing.
- First "paycheck" job: Sales clerk at my parent’s video store.
- First car: 1978 Ford Granada ($700, I paid too much).
- First job after college: Administrative Assistant to the Vice President at a life insurance company.
- Personal quote: “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead”.
- Perfect happiness is: Any day at the beach, but perfect with my close friends, family and with a glass of wine in hand.
“Human beings can only grow because each of their 100 trillion cells holds the capacity to execute the entire life cycle. Likewise, an organization can only grow when every individual carries its vision, and proactively puts into place the means to implement that vision.”
