Now, here’s the backstory on Kartraice…

  • Hometown: Detroit, MI with a three year detour in Murfreesboro, TN.
  • Parents:  My dad is a life long autoworker and my mom, who’s a natural caregiver, is a nurse.
  • Favorite TV Show as a kid: I had a Saturday night tradition – The Love Boat and Fantasy Island (“The plane! The plane!”)
  • Spent my days as a youth: I have a twin brother and an older brother, so being the only girl I was on my own a lot.  You could classify me as a bookworm – Sweet Valley High series was my favorite.
  • Thing I hate to admit, even to myself: I don’t have the Martha Stewart cooking gene.
  • Hobbies: Traveling, jewelry making, music and reading.
  • First "paycheck" job: I was working for The Colonel - KFC
  • First car: A beige Cutlass Sierra.  I don’t remember the year, just that it was old.  My brothers and I nicknamed it the “Moneymaker” because it got us to and from our jobs.
  • Personal quote: Forgiveness liberates the soul – Nelson Mandela
  • Perfect happiness is: Healthy family and friends.

“Human beings can only grow because each of their 100 trillion cells holds the capacity to execute the entire life cycle. Likewise, an organization can only grow when every individual carries its vision, and proactively puts into place the means to implement that vision.”

– Chris Meyer, Director,
the Cap Gemini Center for Business Innovation
