Elisa Perodin joined Coulter in 2007.  As vice president, Perodin specializes in event-management services for all Coulter Nonprofit Management clients, as well as oversees the Events Department in the coordination of logistics for conferences, trade shows, workshops, award ceremonies and other education programs. She also spearheads the Coulter Events business unit, which conceptualizes, designs and produces live events for public and private organizations.

Before joining Coulter, Perodin served as director of convention operations for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where among other responsibilities she managed and implemented pre-show, onsite and post-show operational and logistical activities for the annual NAB Show, which draws more than 110,000 attendees and 1,500 exhibitors. She also served as senior conference manager for Nielsen Business Media, formerly VNU Expositions, and as meetings coordinator for the Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development.

Perodin is a member of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events. In 2008, she earned both the Certified in Exhibition Management and the Certified Meeting Professional designations. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in communications from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Perodin, her husband, Dave, and two children reside in Leesburg, Virginia.

Now, here's the backstory on Elisa:

• Hometown: Bellaire, Michigan (beautiful northern Michigan!)
• Parents: Like most in Michigan, my dad's work is associated with the automotive industry. He is a business consultant to automotive manufacturing suppliers. I was fortunate to have a stay-at-home mom. Growing up with four other siblings, we kept her busy!
• Favorite TV show as a kid: Silver Spoons (what girl wasn't in love with Ricky Schroeder?).
• Spent my days as a youth: Growing up with two older brothers, I spent lots of time playing baseball and running football routes in the neighbor's field. I also have two younger sisters, so when I wasn't outside, I was inside playing Barbies, school, bank and anything we could come up with. Yes, I was the bossy older sister.
• Thing I hate to admit, even to myself: That the Detroit Lions might never make it to a Super Bowl. As a loyal fan, I want to believe that "One day...."
• Hobbies: Chasing after my 3-year old daughter, working out and enjoying time with friends and family.
• First "paycheck" job: Northern Michigan is the cherry capital of the world. My first job was working in a cherry-processing plant—where cherries were cleaned and pitted. Very glamorous! And...it ruined me for cherry pies forever.
• First car: My first car was a 1990 Dodge Shadow that my dad bought. The first car that I bought myself was a 1996 silver/blacktop Camaro with a license plate that read "Droptop." I loved that car!
• First job after college: Bank teller. Biggest mistake I ever made while a bank teller: a woman came in to redeem a big stack of savings bonds. I can't remember exactly how much I overpaid her, but it was not insignificant. It all turned out just fine, but my attention to detail was forever changed.

• Perfect happiness is: Spending time with family and friends, making memories filled with love and laughter.
