Amy B. Lotz, CAE joined American Women in Radio & Television (AWRT), a client of Coulter Nonprofit Management, in October 2002. Prior to being named AWRT's managing director, Lotz served as the association's manager of membership services and its director of member programs. Throughout her tenure, Lotz has been integrally involved with the growth and development of several AWRT pinnacle programs and activities, including the Gracie Awards, student initiatives and scholarships, member relations, and chapter growth strategies.

Lotz's nonprofit management expertise stems from her seven years with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy in Falls Church, Virginia, where she served as the senior manager of membership and board programs.  Lotz also served as director of membership for AIDS Action, a nonprofit advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C.

As Coulter's awards program advisor, Lotz coordinated the launch of the Gies Awards, the pre-eminent recognition of exceptional contribution to and support of oral health and oral health education around the world, and an inaugural program of the American Dental Education Association Gies Foundation. In its launch year, the Gies Award surpassed all expectations in number of nominations, attendance, fundraising and media impressions.

Lotz earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and served as a docent in a Charlottesville art museum while completing her studies. She has been a member of the American Society of Association Executives for more than 10 years.

Lotz, her husband, Trip, and their son reside in Reston, Virginia.
