Mark Dobosz joined The Coulter Companies in October 2008 and serves as Senior Vice President in the area of development strategies and initiatives. In his capacity, Dobosz provides business growth counseling to an array of The Coulter Companies' clients and helps oversee resource development and partnership strategies. Dobosz also serves as executive director of The SCORE Foundation and vice president, development for SCORE – Counselors to America's Small Business (SCORE). SCORE is a national nonprofit organization with 12,400 volunteers providing small business counseling and training through a network of 360 chapters and 800 branches. This organization has served more than 8.5 million entrepreneurs since 1964. In fiscal year 2009, SCORE volunteers spent 1 million+ hours helping strengthen communities across America. In the last three years, The SCORE Foundation raised over $1 million in philanthropic funds annually.
Throughout his tenure, Dobosz has been responsible for overseeing a number of multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns and developing new fundraising programs, as well as expanding several annual giving, planned giving and special events programs. Dobosz has helped raise more than $27 million for the organizations he has served.
Dobosz has spent more than 25 years working in a variety of leadership roles for nonprofit organizations including development, marketing, public relations, community and government relations, operations and teaching. He has worked with such organizations as the Mercy Health Care System, Easter Seals, Friends School in Detroit and other independent and religious schools that address community needs in the areas of education, health care, disabilities, children's services and community development.
Dobosz has spoken extensively throughout his career at various local, regional, and national conferences and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He serves on the boards of several professional and nonprofit organizations and is a recipient of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education Circle of Excellence in Fundraising Award, the Council's highest award.
Dobosz is a graduate of St. Mary's College in Orchard Lake, Michigan.
Dobosz, his wife, Stephany, and three children, reside in Sarasota, Florida.
